The Maison Internationale Universitaire (MIU) is a hotel intended luxury residence type for lecturers, researchers and administrative, staff from the academic world. The team who staff the residence are friendly and always ready to help, and do their best to make your stay the best possible.
The Maison Internationale opened in September 2007, is a hotel answering the needs of the academic world of the Auvergne region to welcome lecturers, researchers and administrative staff from elsewhere in France and abroad in the most favourable conditions possible.

The Maison Internationale is situated in the centre of Clermont-Ferrand, in close proximity to numerous teaching and research establishments. In addition it is surrounded by cultural centres such as the Comédie, the Centre Lyrique, the Maison des Congrès (for plays, music and shows) and is very close to the municipal public gardens, the Jardin Lecoq. There is a nearby tram stop (Université) from which you can get to the Cézeaux campus in 10 minutes.
The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and you will be welcomed by a bilingual, courteous and friendly member of staff.
Modular rooms are available for hosting seminars, receptions or exhibitions.
